The Flying Pigeon isn’t a bicycle. It is an icon.

Only one bicycle has earned the distinction of being the single most popular mechanized vehicle on the planet....
That bike is The Flying Pigeon.

Given as national gifts to presidents and dignitaries alike, these are bicycles with stories, cultural icons, working machines built to last a lifetime. They provide a panoramic view of the city around you; giving you a new perspective on your community, its inhabitants, its pace of life.

First unveiled in China in 1950, the Flying Pigeon is classic. The look, iconic. The history, rich.

Who We Are.

Tomek graduated from the University of Toronto in engineering and architecture. After driving through Australia in a solar powered car, he traded in his wheels to help build the Barclays centre in Brooklyn where he fell in love with the flying pigeon bicycle. He decided to come back to Toronto and bring some bikes with him. A mountainbike racer and passionate advocate of cycling in the city, Tomek can be seen plying the lanes of Harbord Street on his daily commute.

Carolina is a graduate from the university of Toronto BSC program as well as a graduate of the Neighborhood playhouse in New York. Currently based in Toronto, she has conquered the cycling streets in all of the cities she has lived in including Lyon-France, Dubrovnik-Croatia, Montreal, Toronto, Brooklyn and Manhattan. Ask her nicely and she may give you the secret of biking from the tip of Brooklyn to the top of Manhattan in under an hour.
